Analog Model RS-A

Finally, an easy way to pump your bike tires!

The Power of Easy

The Zilch head finally makes it easy for anyone to fill their bike tires. Centered around an award winning proprietary seal design and ergonomic one handed operation, the Zilch head is about letting everyone connect to their tires easily.

No Pushing No Pulling

SLIDES On | Thanks to the Diametral seal design the Zilch pump head slides on and off. That's because unlike all other pump heads, the Zilch head’s internal seals never touch the tire valve until you lock them closed.

Zero Air Loss

Tired of losing air every time you remove your pump head?
With the Zilch head you lose nothing, nada, zilch.
Zero loss, every time, no matter your skill level.

One Hand

A one-handed auto-locking lever so clever, it was also awarded a utility patent. The Zilch head was designed from the start to make attaching and removing the pump head to the tire entirely and completely one handed.
It's sized and shaped to be easy and comfortable to hold

Your Pump For Life

The Zilch head is fully user rebuildable and comes with a LIFETIME warranty. Our floor pumps have user replaceable parts.

Quick Secure Docking and Storage

Works Well!

It works great — you need to be deliberate about how you align the inflator head to the valve, but if you do that properly — it engages easily and has zero air loss. Coming from a screw-on head on a Lezyne floor pump, this is infinitely better. Connected to a low-cost compressor and it works exceptionally. Would recommend getting the digital vs the analog gauge. I went with analog and regret it a bit as it’s quite small and a bit challenging to read in low light situations (before early morning rides :). Overall would recommend!

Almost great, but very very good

First off a couple of improvements that could be made, I'm UK based, thus we use European spec air lines. The inflator came as US spec which provided an early challenge. Luckily, historically i worked in my Dad's hydraulic manufacturing firm, thus understood the various specs and was able to procure the right adapter (most won't). The second issue is with the pump head; it's really tight if you have short valves (long enough for my other pump heads but tight with this shop inflator). Those issues notwithstanding, the head simply works well; it seals perfectly and is quick and easy to use. This inflator will be the one that stays connected to my compressor.

Zilch shop inflator

I am writing this review in regards to my Zilch shop inflator. First and foremost the Zilch head works exactly as advertised. Easy on and off. The best I’ve ever used. That being said I wish you offered the head as a stand alone item.

Simple and amazing!

This is the best inflator I’ve ever used! I recently switched all my valve stems to Muc-Off Big Bore valves and had issues with a traditional presta pump head. The Zilch truly has zero air loss. Best cycling innovation in the last decade at a minimum!

Love it!

Love it! Super easy to use, very accurate gauge, much better than any previous shop inflators I’ve used.

FAQ

Is there really no force required to attach the Zilch head to my tire valve?

Its true! That was one of our three design requirements of the Zilch head. Only made possible by the opposing Diametral Seals which never touch the valve as you slide the Zilch head on/off the valve. All other pump head seals make contact/interference while you push the head on/off the valve.

How is there zero air loss when you release the Zilch head?

The Zilch head allows the tire valve to close BEFORE you unlock the opposing Diametral seals. This results in ZERO air loss every time. No matter your skill level.

Does Zilch work on Presta valves?

Yes, Zilch works natively on Presta valves. And you don't need to change your valve core like some other pump heads require.

Does Zilch work on Schrader valves?

Yes, with the included EZ-fill converter that stays on the tire. You screw it on once by hand on each tire and leave it. Now even your kids can fill their tires easily!

Does Zilch work on Dunlop valves?

Yes, with the available converter that stays on the tire. You screw it on once by hand on each tire and leave it.

Does Zilch work on Italian (Regina) valves?

Yes, Zilch works natively on Italian/Regina valves

What is included?

1x Dock for wall or tool panel mounting. 2X Schrader to Presta converter, 1X Ball needle adaptor. Stored in the shop inflator wall dock

What is the puff of air I hear when unlocking the Zilch head from the tire valve?

That sweet puff of air sound is the air being released from the hose of the pump itself. No air is released from your tire.

Can I buy replacement parts?

Yes. We designed the Zilch head to be your last. All parts are user replaceable.

I already have a shop inflator, can I just buy the Zilch head?

No. We decided not to offer the Zilch head as a stand alone item for two reasons. 1. The one handed ergonomic dock positioned high on the pump handle is part of the overall experience of using the Zilch head. 2. The larger share of the cyclists market is not comfortable with the somewhat complicated process of replacing the head on their existing pump.

When will it ship?

July.

The Zilch Head is ready to enter the beginning stages of mass-production. We expect most of production to occur during the months of May & June, and during that time we should have batches of shipments headed to our US operation via sea freight, for assembly and US Fulfillment.
