It is absolutely not intuitive. You really have to read the instructions then look at the videos. Once you understand how it works (and there are many ways it does not work) it is actually very simple to use.
Keeping the chain out the way makes fettling with disc brakes in particular really easy. Being able to spin the wheel without any engagement of the cassette is way more useful than you might think.
Only 4 stars since you need to remember which pins fits which rear mech. All my bikes need different pins and the one I really wanted it for is possibly too new - the new T type pin does not fit my SRAM AXS EXPLR kit (and neither do any of the other SRAM pins). Might be due to the frame rather than the rear mech, but it does not fit regardless.
So it works really well on 4 out of 5 bikes (2 SRAM MTBs, a SRAM hybrid and a Shimano roadbike).
